Winter Celebrations

Celebrate winter with our special Winter Celebration classes! These one-time classes are perfect for new students who want to try the program before winter session starts in January, for our regular students who want to bridge the gap between fall and winter, and for others who just want to experience an enriching celebration of winter! All materials are included for each class and adult participation is required. See below for details on each program.

Classic Tales 'n Tunes® Winter Party

Celebrate the coming of winter-the snow and the snowmen, the sleigh bells and all the winter fun in our special one-time Winter Party class! Enjoy great stories and songs in English and Spanish, puppetry, finger plays using American Sign Language and movement activities.

Hop 'n Bop Winter Fun

Brrr...the cold weather is coming, but we'll be warm and cozy as we jingle, tap, shake, rattle and roll to some wonderful winter songs! Along with their parent or caregiver, children explore a variety of gross motor equipment and instruments in a fun, music-infused atmosphere. We'll climb, bounce, balance, jump and pretend, exercising our minds and bodies.

Family Circle™ Winter Adventure

Children from birth through 5 years of age will have great fun in this special one-time Winter Adventure class! We'll read a wintry story in English, and learn some useful Spanish and American Sign Language along the way! We'll learn winter finger plays that use American Sign Language, sing and dance to favorite winter music, and meet a puppet that will tell us how he keeps warm in the winter. Babies, toddlers and preschoolers will all be included and challenged in this highly differentiated class that combines the best of Classic Tales 'n Tunes® with that of Happy Hands®.
